Can we just talk about silk for a moment? It is such a lovely and soft fabric, I honestly don't know why brands don't use it more often as a lining for a structured or less palatable garments. Silk is breathable and yet can give you coverage from the sun at the same time, think long sleeve Equipment blouses like the one above. A breeze goes by and you actually can feel the gust go right through the fabric and cool you off. For this reason I believe you should definitely add a silk blouse or dress to your closet. You won't regret it, I promise!
