Investment Pieces + Leather Jackets

When: A few weekends ago for brunch at Chautauqua for a special Birthday lunch, not my own:)

In late August I had the opportunity to attend a style event at Nordstrom Rack, by Nancy Taylor Farel, who is a personal stylist.  Nancy is a wonderful stylist and it was at this event that the leather jacket above was one of the items she hand picked for her display.  I am not usually a leather jacket person, but this one, because of the knit wool sleeves, piqued my interest.  So I tracked it down and tried it on and wrestled with the idea of keeping it.  With leather jackets normally they can become too claustrophobic and hot since they do not breath well.  This one because of the mix of materials works out well and feels more like a nice cozy sweater rather than a hardcore biker jacket.  But, to each their own.  I believe you can't go wrong investing in a leather jacket, they are a classic piece added to any wardrobe.
