Scarf & Sequins

The Importance of a Scarf:

When: In between snow and sun and snow and a little more sun to melt away the snow.

Do you ever put together an outfit and think it's just wonderful except it's missing a little something, you just can't place what though?  The answer is quite simple, but the way to wear it can be quite complicated.  You guessed right if you said a scarf, which is the one accessory every woman needs to have in order to add a little extra intrigue to an ensemble.

There are many different types of scarves and ways to wear them from simple knots to complicated braiding.  The most important factor in in finding a scarf comes down to knowing the color pallets in your wardrobe and basing you choices of scarves off of those colors.  If you have a good amount of black in your closet and I'm betting you do, it's always good to find lighter colors to soften up the the look or add a contrast to it for a bolder statement.

One last tidbit about the flexible functionality of a scarf.  If you have ever succumb to the color trends of the moment, yet found that the particular color doesn't work well on you, a scarf can be the answer.  Hear me out on this.  Certain colors look wonderful next to your face, for me it's usually a cream or lighter color, but that's not usually the trendy color of the moment.  If you find scarves that are in an agreeable color pallet for you, wear them closer to your face as it can offset the color that is not working for you and turn that outfit into an extraordinary one!
