Burberry Skirt + Quality Control

Would you believe that this plaid Burberry skirt cost a mere $50?  Me neither, especially when Burberry skirts new start at $400-$500, but there it was neatly hanging and screaming out to me to try it on in the consignment store.  I did and it fit well, felt structured and comfortable and above all, because this is a pet peeve of mine, the pattern matched dead on at the seams.  You can definitely define a quality piece by how well  it is put together and the detail that goes into the construction.  This applies to stripes as well, lower quality  garments will not match stripes at the seams or they may be slightly off.  Always look for these details when selecting clothing and you will have a wardrobe of pieces that last and are classic for years to come.
