Sequins
I am sure by now you are well aware of my love for sparkle and sequins.  That said wearing them without looking like you're overdoing it can be a little tricky.  The key to pulling of a stylish sequined look is to minimize the accessories, as seen in the first set of pictures above.  If you want to be a little more adventurous and fun you can add a casual piece, like the striped t-shirt underneath the black sequined dress, to the outfit to convey what I would call a "non-stuffy factor."  The black dress also works as a longer top to layer during the fall/winter months, in order to maximize its worth in your closet.  The most important thing to keep in mind when wearing sequins - you will be noticed, so wear them like you mean it and no one else's opinion matters, because honestly your's is the only one that does.
