LA rag & bone

Or we could wear heels and look this much taller:

When: Last week when I wanted to be comfortable yet not casual.  It worked!

To tell you the truth I can't quite get into the softer pastel and colorful spring colors just yet.  It's as if I can't shift out of 5th gear to 4th or 3rd for that matter and break my black and white marathon.  I don't think the weather is quite ready for spring either just yet.  It keeps changing and taunting us here, 54, 56, 60, 54, oh hello 75 degrees and then wham, right back to the 50's again.  So you see why I am in a holding pattern.

Earlier this week I talked about repeating key elements in your wardrobe and referenced the blazer above. It's such a great item for this time of year because depending on the mood of the weather you can keep it on or take it off if things get to hot or cold.  You could also use the blazer as a jacket of sorts, since mornings can be quite chilly and it would look great with jeans as well for not so casual Fridays.  Yet, I seem to think at least here in Boulder it's all casual all the time, Friday or otherwise.  So surprise them and wear your sleek blazer.  You might just start a style revolution because little did you know, but what you wear impacts those around you in so many ways.
