Prada the Uniform

What's Your Uniform
Many people tell me, "Kristen, you always look so put together.  How do you do it?"  Here's the deal, I have a uniform so to speak, that equals pure genius on those days where my brain has taken a vacation or I just don't have the energy to put something new and spiffy together.  It goes a little something like this:

Skinny jeans or pants.
Button down shirt.
Scarf or amazing sparkly necklace.
Boots or heels for elevation.
Possibly a blazer if the weather is changing constantly.

The key to remember is that there are essential pieces you can use to create different combinations of your favorite uniform.  These should be staples of your wardrobe and have similar color pallets.  These pieces are items you pick out frequently because they are comfortable and you feel good in them.  It could be a skirt you favor or a specific type of cropped pant.  Whatever it is, use it as a base and build on it.  For instance, above even though black plays a dominating role, you can see that the scarf pulls the look together by combining all three hues, which are represented in the outfit.  Let me know if you have more questions below, I'd be happy to help answer any burning questions about how to create your uniform.
